Volume Booster chrome extension for windows 10

Volume Booster chrome extension for windows 10

1. Intro

I made this extension because I wanted to blast music on my laptop.

I’ve not used it all that much, but I like the concept.

2. Volume Booster Features

Volume Booster is a chrome extension that increases the volume of audio by up to 4 times the loudness of the original volume.

The concept is like a loudness compressor (such as Audio Joiner). It’s intended to increase the volume of audio by up to 4 times the loudness of its original volume, without increasing distortion or introducing clipping (i.e. distortion which would occur if you played it at louder levels than they designed it for).

Hare added an option that allows you to bounce between different sizes (1/16, 1/8, and 1/6) so you can choose how much louder you want your music. It also processes any other audio tracks in your library (so if you have some audio playing that was previously louder than normal, it’ll still be louder when you use Volume Booster).

3. Installation

A volume booster is a program that increases the audio output of your computer on a device where it is not supported by the hardware (such as a smartphone or tablet). There are many ways to do this. One common method is to install a small app called “Volume Booster”. They are always free and simple to install. Volume boosters do not work with headphones or external speakers.

There are other methods as well: you could use an external speaker, connect your computer to an external amplifier, or even use third-party software, which you can download from the Internet. Some people think that all volume booster programs are malicious and spyware and should be avoided at all costs (and I, for one, am sympathetic to that position).

But here’s the thing: if you follow the instructions in this post, and install them on your laptop/computer/whatever, it will yield exactly what you would expect… but not only that:

It will repeat itself each time you restart your computer after installing it (if you’re using Windows 10)

It will repeat itself each time you run Chrome! What?! This is just plain dangerous. If this happens regularly without fail, your computer might become unstable (and so could Chrome). It may also put too much stress on your CPU, which can lead to other problems such as overheating, crashing, and even physical damage. And worst of all: if this happens only occasionally when you don’t restart Chrome after installing a volume booster program, then there is no reason at all why it shouldn’t happen once in a while when you restart Chrome!

This effect has been observed multiple times already by users of Google Chrome, who reported frequent crashes and system freezes when running certain volume booster programs during their daily browsing routine (such as applications like Skype for Business). We have also observed it in other browsers like Chromium-based Firefox and Edge — but these were not long-lived enough to get published here yet 😉 .

The main issue with these programs is that they never stop running/repeating themselves if it left them running in the background while they are being used; they keep coming back until they either die out completely or until someone manually uninstalls them from your system… which takes up precious computing resources somewhere else entirely 🤔 .

I have tried many methods in my life trying to solve this problem, including installing several

4. Usage

I’m sure you’ve heard of volume booster before, but didn’t know what it was. I did something about that and created a chrome extension that increases the max volume of any audio on your computer.

The concept is simple: just click the extension icon in Chrome and you will get a pop-up pre-filled with the max volume you can hear in your browser. It works on both mp3, WMA, and WAV files (they recommend the latter two for higher sound quality).

If you are using Chrome with Windows 10, then Windows Defender will warn you it is not safe to use volume booster on this OS and may have to be uninstalled. On Android, please disable the “Android Security Policy” Notifications in Settings > Privacy > Notification Access.

5. In Conclusion, Will You Use This Extension?

If you’ve heard of volume booster, you’ve probably heard of it because people are asking for it. The only reason people are asking for it is that they’re too lazy to find a better extension or they simply don’t care. The problem with volume boosters is that they’re not boosters at all. They do nothing specific to increase the volume of audio; they just do one thing: tweak the overall volume level in your browser without messing around with resizing or scaling.

It doesn’t matter if you can hear the difference between a .mp3 file and a .wav file (and there isn’t), if all you want to do is increase the overall level in your browser and nothing more, then this extension will do exactly what you want in just about no time at all.

If you want the maximum boost, though, then you need to look further down this page… there are also apps like Chrome Zoom, which offers many more features than just improving your browser’s sound but basically won’t improve your audio quality.
