1994 - Revelations

The Persona series began in 1994 with the release of Revelations: Persona on the original PlayStation console. The game was released in North America as Megami Ibunroku: Persona and in Europe as Revelations: The Demon Slayer.

The first game follows high school student Maya Amano who has been investigating rumors of a cult that kidnaps people and sacrifices them to an evil entity known as Philemon.
