Ross’s tenure with Halo began when she was hired as an assistant producer for the original game in 2001. Her job was to organize meetings and track progress on development. In 2003, she became director of production for the company and led development on “Halo 2” and “Halo 3.” Ross then became general manager of Microsoft Game Studios in 2008, overseeing Microsoft’s games business across all platforms before becoming head of 343 Industries in 2010.
